Ms.Dometrius Elementary and Middle school English teacher
Carla has been teaching English to elementary and middle school students at our school for more than 10 years, while her teaching career is over 27 years now! She is passionate about education and has a unique approach to teaching.
Ms.Dometrius believes in fostering critical thinking and teamwork skills in her students. Her teaching style is engaging, interactive, and always focused on the individual needs of each student.
Carla is originally from the United States, and English is her native language. Nevertheless, for the past 10 years, she has been teaching herself Russian as well ✅ This helps her connect with students from both English and Russian-speaking families.
Carla is a fan of roller skating. She is not only a fantastic roller skater, she is also a certified skate instructor! She even wrote (and published!) a book called "Rollerdance Man".
