Grade 2-8

Applying to Grade 2-8

San Francisco Pacific Academy is unique in many ways, but particularly in the diversity of cultural backgrounds, talents, life experiences, and personalities of the students. Admission to San Francisco Pacific Academy is selective and competitive.

Step 1

Begin the process by visiting our school during one of the weekday Open House Tours to see our students and faculty in action. Our tours are led by Eleonora Nayberg, the Head of School with some help of our 5th and 6th grade students who are the “connoisseurs” about life at San Francisco Pacific Academy. At the end of the tour, Ms. Nayberg will be available to answer your questions.

Step 2

Following a preliminary visit to San Francisco Pacific Academy, an appointment for a student evaluation, or Admission Test, needs to be scheduled. The Admission Test day is a weekday (Monday through Friday) at 8:30am. The test lasts for 30 minutes; your child is placed one-on-one with a teacher. You can request the date for this test by downloading our Admission Test Request Form (Required). On that form please indicate your three preferred dates for such a test and mail it back to our school along with a $50.00 Admission Test fee. Once your request is received, an e-mail with a date conformation will be sent to you.

Step 3

Common Confidential Student Evaluation Form (Required) needs to be printed out and signed by you (parent/guardian), completed by your child's preschool or school teacher, and returned directly to San Francisco Pacific Academy by your child’s current school before your scheduled Admission Test date.
